From the 27-29th September 2022, Intamac will be exhibiting at the PPMA Total Show at the NEC, Birmingham. The PPMA show is the largest processing and packaging machinery exhibition in the UK and will showcase packaging products and equipment to suit an extensive range of sectors, including food and beverages, pet care, pharmaceuticals, household products, contract packaging companies and more.
Intamac will be exhibiting on Stand C32 throughout the show and we are excited to be demonstrating the versatility of our packaging equipment. Our extensive range of machinery and ancillary equipment can package anything from solids to powders and granules or even liquids, providing effective solutions for customers in most sectors.
Our Packaging Machinery
On show at our stand will be four of our packaging machines, along with our IntegraJet ink jet systems.
This year’s PPMA Total Show coincides with the launch of our upgraded IPS-8BT-H High Speed Stand Up Pouch Filling Machine. Following the success of our original 8BT machine, and the growing demand for pouch packaging, we worked to refine the design, reducing the number of parts required to reduce maintenance costs, whilst also doubling packaging speeds to help customers up their packaging output.
Alongside our IPS-8BT-H pouch filling machine, we will also be showcasing:
- IPS-420 Mini (AA) Sachet (VFFS) Machine – Ideally suited for packaging powder and granule products, along with small dose liquid products into pillow packs.
- IPS-APCE-20TK – Our compact case former and erector creates boxes ready to be filled with a range of products.
- IPS-420-SS Horizontal Flow Wrapper – A highly versatile machine, suitable for a wide range of products, including foods such as fruit and vegetables, pasties and other snacks, as well as technical, medical and pharmaceutical products.
All of the above machines will be integrated with our IntegraJet ink jet systems, allowing for all date code and batch printing to be carried out on a single packaging line. Our IntegraJet printers feature a new and improved inkjet software system designed with customers in mind, allowing for any print job to be set up on the screen with little training.
We are also proud to showcase IntegraInk IT2961, a new solvent based ink designed specifically to work with the IntegraJet system, printing directly and adhering to a multitude of different packaging substrates to suit customers’ unique packaging needs.
Iain Buckham, Chairman of Intamac’s sister company Engelmann & Buckham, was involved at all stages of the development of our IntegraInk products, “We listened to our customers’ comments on how to improve their ink jet systems and requirements for ink onto packaging. We were then able to work with our manufacturer to make tweaks and changes to develop a robust, easy to use, next generation ink jet system.”
“The new ink came as a natural part of this process and has been trialled across a number of businesses, who have been delighted with its performance.”
